- The finest quality, archival, acid-free papers -

400gsm. A matt coated, poly-cotton canvas with a fine, uniform and bright-white surface texture. Prints have fine details and black and white reproductions that are rich in contrast.
Perfect for art reproductions, Daguerre Canvas is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most exacting requirements in terms of age resistance. It has excellent stretch properties and is ideal for mounting on canvas stretcher frames.

Matt / 308gsm. A heavy-duty matt paper made of 100% cotton rag with a natural white tone and superb black saturation.
This is the paper we recommend most often. Its soft matt finish and natural texture make it a superb all-round choice for fine art reproductions, photography and limited edition prints.

Matt / 305gsm. A white, versatile paper that suits contemporary illustration and photography. 100% cotton and finely textured to give a silky feel.
If you're looking for a cleaner, more contemporary finish with crisp detail and vibrant colours, this is an excellent option for modern artwork, digital illustration and photography.

Matt / Satin / 310gsm. This paper has a unique coating, producing outstanding prints with beautiful depth and three-dimensional qualities.
This paper offers something between a traditional matt and gloss finish. We often suggest it when customers want a little more depth and richness without the reflections of glossy paper.

Pearl / 320gsm. 100% cotton. Unique. The inherent quality of a rag paper with a beautiful, slightly textured pearl finish. A lovely choice for portrait photography and artwork with rich, warm colours. The subtle pearl finish adds depth while maintaining the character of a fine art paper.

Matt / 310gsm. A heavy-duty paper with a more textured finish than Photorag, a velvety matt surface, and a warm white hue with traits of a traditional artist board.
One of our favourites for watercolours, pastels and traditional artwork. Its beautifully textured surface closely resembles the feel of genuine artist's paper.

Metallic / 340gsm. This paper has a special silvery-shimmering finish, creating a unique metallic effect for impressive printing results with bold colours and deep blacks.
Ideal when you want your print to have real impact. We often recommend this paper for dramatic landscapes, night photography and contemporary artwork where the metallic finish enhances highlights and colour.

Lustre / 310gsm. A naturally white, heavyweight photographic paper with excellent detail, vibrant colour, and a stunning lustre finish.
A versatile photographic paper that works particularly well for family photographs, travel images and colourful landscapes. It delivers vibrant colours with a subtle lustre finish.

Satin / 310gsm. A satin paper with beautiful reproduction of detail, density of colour and deep blacks. The soft reflective coating highlights delicate details and includes a 100% barium sulphate layer that gives it the look and feel of traditional darkroom prints.
An excellent choice for black and white photography and exhibition prints. Its rich blacks, fine detail and traditional darkroom appearance make it a favourite with many photographers.

Matt / 310gsm rag. With a traditional watercolour base, a natural grain and felt-marked finish.
Perfect for reproducing paintings, watercolours and other traditional artwork. The textured surface beautifully complements artwork where preserving the character of the original is important.
Contact us for a custom quote. Once you are ready to proceed, visit our shop to view and choose the perfect paper for your print. During your visit, we can also discuss custom framing options and answer any questions you have. When your artwork is ready, simply email us the files or drop by with a USB drive.
We accept both JPEG and TIFF files. We highly recommend saving your final work as a maximum-quality JPEG. Side-by-side, there is zero visible difference in print quality. Just remember that JPEGs only lose quality if you repeatedly edit and re-save them. Always edit your original file first, then export it as a JPEG.
Recommended File Settings:
Note: Please embed one of our approved colour profiles before saving. We cannot guarantee exact colour matching for files sent with unrecognised or missing profiles.
Important Details on Resolution & Sharpening:
The maximum size for a single image is 225 MB.
Bleed refers to any print or empty space that extends past the final crop lines. In most cases you don’t need to worry about calculating this yourself.
While Giclée prints do not require any bleed, most of our other products need a few millimetres of extra edge space.
Once your order is complete, your file/s will be deleted from our hard drive and cloud drive.
Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Matt Paper is our most popular paper for art prints. However, if there is a large amount of black in the image, we would recommend papers with a baryta, satin, or pearl/lustre finish. This is because uncoated fine art papers are highly vulnerable to scuffing and "glossing" (marks caused by fingernails or oils on dark patches).
